Inspiration: Wisconsin bars and the regulars and old timers you will often find haunting them.
For many Wisconsonites (Sconnies), local bars are the major hub of their social lives. Particular patrons may frequent the same bar at the same time (and sit in the same seat) every single day. This is where love is found and lost and where they celebrate and mourn.
This is one of my earliest spray paint / stencil pantings.
I made two versions of this painting, a “daylight version” and a “night version”.
